Anonymous asked: The scars never leave. One day, when you think all is calm, you're going to look at/feel your scars and remember each one. But it's not going to hurt you, it's going to make you realize that you made it through. That these scars are better than having have possibly done something permanent for temporary thoughts/anger/sadness. Congrats to those recovering&keep trying. Be careful...

Where is your 'happy place'?
It can be a physical place or something you think about that helps you fight off the urges to harm.
Mine, for example, is Barnes and Noble or the beach.
Anonymous asked: How can you tell if a cut is infected. I've showed several people, a few of them said it was and a few said it wasn't. I'm not sure if it's just scar tissue or not. The cut won't seem to close up in one spot and it looks slightly white there. I'm not sure if that's bad. I never cut that deep there before.
